It’s the first day of March! There is so much to be excited about this month. The sun’s out longer, the flowers start blooming, the kids start to go to the park and eat ice cream. And it’s a new month to go after new goals. I have so much that I want to accomplish this month so I must ensure I stay organized and on top of my timelines I set for myself.

Part of my resolutions for the year was to be more planful. I wanted to ensure that every hour, day, week, and month was planned out ahead of time. This helps me to stay consistent with any goals and also helps me to keep track of all the things I want to accomplish. This process has become a part of my weekly and nightly routine. It is almost like meditation for me. It is some time that I take to myself to plan out my days and then at night to determine if I can check off all the tasks on my to-do list.

I have become addicted to my Happy Planner. I use tons of stickers, washi tape, color pens, and clips. My Fitness stickers help me to keep track of my workout goals and meal that I eat daily. My mom stickers help me to stay on top of appointments and household tasks that need to be taken care of. And then I have lots of encouragement stickers with phrases such as “You Got This” that reminds me to keep pushing through.

Some of my goals for this month are to:

  1. Run/Walk at least a mile a day(even on rest days). I find that I work out hard on the days that I plan and do NOTHING on rest days. I want to ensure that I am active every day.
  2. Go meatless in March: I plan to give up all meat, excluding fish, in March. On Mondays, I will have no fish, either. I will begin this journey on 3/6/2017.
